This morning I was all set to write a thrilling new blog post that shared my latest 12 minute workout and a microwavable vegetable creation (as usual). But instead, I pulled my back while doing a push up at the gym this morning and can’t move (ahhhh!!). The only thing I can do is sit up completely straight, angle my eyes down to the computer on my lap, and type. I suppose I can also watch TV, but I never watch TV… so the thought of having no choice but to do that all day is slightly depressing.
I’m very nervous. I’ve never done anything like this before. I’m waiting for the doctor to call me back to tell me, “Did you say your name was Melanie? Mel, from Mel Runs?! Of COURSE we have an opening for you today! We’ll send a magic carpet to pick you up!” I’ll keep you posted on what happens.
In the meantime, if you’re interested, I’m documenting my startup project, Trainer Link, on the Trainer Link website. You can find the first two installments here:
I hope to showcase what it’s like to go through the startup motions, and also reveal a powerful new entrepreneur movement called Lean Startup. I explain the theory a bit in each post so that those who don’t know about Lean Startup get a little bit of an education and have no trouble following along.
Now if I only I could turn my head to the right…
