My chocolate-free day two started back in Austin, Texas. After fighting my way through my parent’s chocolate laden house and the evil convenience stores at the airport, I was very happy to walk through the door at midnight and crawl into bed. Upon waking though, it was a different story.
Let me introduce you to our snack cabinet contents:
Yup. I fought that battle all day yesterday. The fellow challengers are also facing major obstacles. It’s like a giant chocolate obstacle course and we’re all CIA agents on the run (with cool black sunglasses on).
Mike tweeted a picture of his after-lunch chocolate swap yesterday and reminded me I needed to get fruit in the house STAT.
My inspired fruit overload. That would be six containers of blackberries, one container of strawberries, 15 clementines (too far? I blame Mike), three bananas, one pineapple, one cantaloupe, one million dollars spent on fruit.
Melissa recommended trying frozen banana bites as a yummy swap. Noted. So far today I already ate two cases of blackberries.
Here’s today’s challenger score for day 2 (today is day 3 of the overall challenge)–with the new addition of the Hill Country Pierogi food truck in Austin. Wahoo!
What are your swaps for your food weakness?
